Happy Birthday, Vivaldi!

Born on this day in 1678: Antonio Vivaldi, the Venetian composer and violin virtuoso known as Il Prete Rosso (The Red Priest) because of his red hair.

In honor of Vivaldi’s birthday, I’m posting a piece of music that was very inspirational in the course of writing The Violinist of Venice, and as such became very important to my heroine, Adriana d’Amato, throughout the course of the story.

Enjoy!
