Happy Birthday, Vivaldi!

Born on this day in 1678: Antonio Vivaldi, the Venetian composer and violin virtuoso known as Il Prete Rosso (The Red Priest) because of his red hair.

In honor of Vivaldi’s birthday, I’m posting a piece of music that was very inspirational in the course of writing¬†The Violinist of Venice, and as such became very important to my heroine, Adriana d’Amato, throughout the course of the story.

Enjoy!
